Участвуем в конкурсе!
Никита очень любит поезда и всё, что с ними связано. А также любит масштабные ролевые игры.
“Mummy, please, make me a train, a real one!”
Night express
First, we need to make our steam engine. Let’s look at Tomas on the picture, he has face. Let’s try to draw his face. Take the black crayon and draw a big circle. Now draw two little circles for his eyes and inside them black circles. These are pupils of his eyes. Now we need two eyebrows, little nose and a mouth. Great, he is smiling a big smile!
We also need a railway track. Here is a roll of paper, unravel it, please. First we need the crossties. Draw a lot of short lines along each other. These are the crossties and they form a base for the railings. Now, please, draw two long black lines across the crossties. These are railings. Our railway track is ready!
We will stick the face to your little table to make a steam engine. Please, help me to cut two pieces of sticky tape. Now we need a funnel. What can we use as a funnel? Little drum is just fine. What else does the steam engine need? Your little chair is the engineers cab. Big torch is the headlight. Good idea, you can use the model built from your gears construction set as an engine, let’s put it under the table. Now you are the engineer, what do you need? A whistle, a bell, some buttons and switchers! We can use your toy car remote control. We will put our steam engine on the railway track.
1. “Slam bang grease the engine, throw out the throttle and give it the gun!” (Hit the drum, blow your whistle, and ring the bell)
“Night train song” (Original version “Mother Goose Club” http://www.mothergooseclub.com/rhymes.php?cat=favorites&id=209)
Clickety clack, clickety clack,
What’s that speedin’ through the night?
It is Night train!
Night train comin’ down the track.
Chugga chugga chugga.
Comin’ and goin’ and rollin’ down the track.
Comin’ and goin’ and rollin’ down the track.
Stop the engine! What is that? Ms. Duck is crossing our railway track! ‘Mrs. Duck, don’t you know, you can’t cross the track when the crossing gate is closed’, says the engineer. ‘But my ducklings are running away’, sighed Mrs. Duck. The duck has crossed the track and we can go again.
1. “Slam bang grease the engine, throw out the throttle and give it the gun!” (Hit the drum, blow your whistle, and ring the bell)
Clickety clack, clickety clack,
What’s that speedin’ through the night?
It is Thomas (Percy, James …) !
Thomas comin’ down the track.
Chugga chugga chugga.
Comin’ and goin’ and rollin’ down the track.
Comin’ and goin’ and rollin’ down the track.
The train rolls into the big dark tunnel (cover the engine with a big blanket and move it slowly backwards). As the train goes through the tunnel, the engineer blows his whistle “Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee”. Out from the big tunnel comes the night train with the little engineer.
2. “Little train song” (Original “Grandpas little train” from Peppa Pig to the tune of “The weels on the bus” )
Nikitas little train goes choo, choo, choo
Choo, choo, choo, choo, choo, choo
Nikitas little train goes choo, choo, choo
All through the night
The steam in the funnel goes puff, puff, puff
Puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff
The steam in the funnel goes puff, puff, puff
All through the night
The little night train came to a big bridge over a big river, but this bridge was ruined! Stop the engine! We will put the blue blanket on the floor pretending it is a river.
Railroad bridge song (Originally “London Bridge is falling down”)
Railroad bridge has fallen down
Fallen down, fallen down
Railroad bridge has fallen down,
My fair train.
How shall we build it up again,
Build it up, build it up
How shall we build it up again,
My fair train?
Build it up with boxes and books,
Boxes and books, boxes and books
Build it up with boxes and books,
My fair train.
Put some boxes and books across the river to make the new bridge. Full steam ahead! The train goes over the new bridge!
1. Clickety clak, clickety clack. The train speeds on through the night. The train crew won’t go to sleep until the trip is over.
Nikitas little train goes choo, choo, choo
Choo, choo, choo, choo, choo, choo
Nikitas little train goes choo, choo, choo
All through the night
And the steam in the funnel goes puff, puff, puff
Puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff
And the steam in the funnel goes puff, puff, puff
All through the night
A big thunderstorm is coming! The lightning flashes! The thunder roars! Bang on the tambourine, shake the rattle and make a flash with your torch. But the little engineer is very brave! He and his passengers are save in the train.
Oh no, it is a flood! The track is covered with water (cover the track with the blue blanket)! Stop the engine! Whatever shall we do? Fire brigade comes to the rescue. Ladder truck will help to evacuate all the passengers. However, the engineer has to stay and wait until all the water will go away. Finally the track is free (remove the blanket from the track) and you can go again!
2. Stop the engine! It was a big freeze and the railroad track is covered with snow and ice. How can we clean the track? We need special salt to melt it (or we need a special plow for our steam engine or a bulldozer). Scatter the salt (Lego bricks or some other little details) all over the frozen track (or use some toy bulldozers to scrape the snow). It took a very long time to clear the track and now it is clean!
Poketa-poketa-Poketa-poketa
The train rolled on toward Timbuctoo
Far down the track from Kalamazoo
Until far away against the sky
There was a great big railroad station.
Whoooooooooooooooooo!
Ringing its bell dong-dong-dong
The great big train with a puff-puff-puff
Came home to Timbuctoo.
