The assistant of a deputy of St Petersburg Legislative Assembly told me this morning that because of my beliefs I must not have equal rights with everyone else. He said I should have different rights, he couldn't elaborate what exactly off the top of his head but I definitely don't deserve equality because I don't agree with him and his boss on some issues. He was not mean or rude, he was nice and friendly about it. Or at least as friendly as one can get when telling you that you're a second rate human being. Those are the people with legistative power in my country. Those are the people for whom the majority will vote on Election Day.
