Ну и просто маленькая сказка для любителей языка.
О СказкеKate is a little girl of 5 years. Her mother has a great proficiency in psychology. The mother often consults her clients at home. So, Kate, who saves everything in memory readily without any mnemonics, has an eleborate system of psychological knowledge too.
One day Kate came from her kindergarten feeling sad. "Mummy, - she said, - we were told today that all the words have a stress. Poor words! Can you aid them, mum?"
One could think that such a childish problem had been silly and pointless but not Kate's mother.
She answered: "Of course, my dear, I can but you should help me. Stress, you know, can be useful if it is not constant. To give the words som rest, just write them down. The words have no stress or emphasise on the paper. So, when you'll pronounce them out loud again they will feel much better. Also the words have a rest, when you read them out from books."
Kate was so happy and proud of helping the words that she was reading her favourite book about the aural and visual aspects of assosiative process all the evening that day.
